TIPS IN PREPARING

1. Bring your favorite chair or blanket. Limited chairs will be available, but there will be plenty of space to set up inside or outside. May as well grab your favorite means to lounge.

2. Come early. Come for the music, come to explore the site — get the most value out of your ticket.

3. Bring sunscreen and a towel. The festival is half indoors, so you can get out of the sun or rain if need be. But it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.

4. Get to know Pullman. Soaked in history.

5. Get to know the line-up. It’s always better if you know the music. Links to all of the band websites can be found under “Schedule.”

6. Have an exit strategy. The films may not end until midnight, and the last Metra train toward Millenium Park is at 12:15 (need to flag conductor). DJ Self-Help is on until one. At this point, stick close to a sober driver or find the list of cab numbers that will be on hand.
